2025年10月27日General Administration of Customs: Cross-border e-commerce reached 2.06 trillion yuan in the first three quarters.
According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, my country’s cross-border e-commerce import and export volume reached approximately RMB 2.06 trillion in the first three quarters of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%. Cross-border e-commerce exports performed particularly well, totaling approximately RMB 1.63 trillion, an increase of 6.6%; while imports reached approximately RMB 425.54 billion, an increase of 5.9%. Against the backdrop of overall pressure on foreign trade, cross-border e-commerce continued to maintain steady growth, highlighting its important role as a new driving force for foreign trade.

Shopee Vietnam is standardizing product categorization and cracking down on misleading listing practices starting October 16th.
Recently, Shopee Vietnam announced that it will strictly enforce product categorization guidelines starting October 16, 2025. Sellers are required to ensure that product names and descriptions are consistent with the selected categories, and that different options for the same product can only differ in attributes such as color and size. Unrelated categories must not be mixed in in order to lower the displayed price.
The platform explicitly considers behaviors such as “categorization not being directly related to product function” or “misleading consumers by using low-price categorization” as violations, and stipulates that different categories of goods cannot be sold in the same link.

According to the latest research data from Ecommerce Europe, fashion products lead the European e-commerce market with a 70% purchase rate, far exceeding multimedia products (56%) and streaming subscription services (46%). According to the latest research data from Yougov, two-thirds of German online shoppers consider delivery speed a key factor when choosing an e-commerce platform, and 42% of respondents are willing to pay extra for faster delivery, with this figure reaching as high as 54% among Generation Z and Millennials. Despite the increasing importance of fast delivery, free shipping remains the most influential purchasing decision factor, accounting for 79% of respondents.
